Production Sample & Photos!

Hello backers!
Our week got off to a very exciting start as we received our production sample! 🥳 This is a sample from the factory that shows us what the game will look like in its final form before we proceed to mass production.
In short, we're extremely pleased with the production and quality level that our manufacturing partner has achieved! The game looks and feels beautiful. See for yourself:
The game and its expansions
The box fits every expansion card!
The rest of the components fit on top of the cards, and the box still closes snugly.
We only had 2 notes for our manufacturer:
A few cards were missing, so we are confirming that those missing cards will indeed be in the final copy
The pawn colors pictured here are not the final colors, so we will be confirming the final colors with them as well.
Once these 2 issues are resolved we will be ready for mass production!

BackerKit Surveys Are Coming!

Hi everyone!
We've completed our smoke test of the BackerKit surveys! Thanks to everyone who helped us catch the last couple bugs. We are now ready to send out everyone's BackerKit surveys! 🎉
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. Once a date has been set to close the surveys, lock addresses, and charge cards, we will share that with you here in an update.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://spectrumgame.backerkit.com/.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://spectrumgame.backerkit.com/faq#contact-us.

BackerKit Surveys Starting to Go Out!

Hello all!
Thank you so much for your patience as we have put the BackerKit pledge manager together. We're happy to report that we have just sent out the first round of surveys! 🎉
For now, only 5% of you will receive a survey invite. We send out a small batch first to test that everything is working correctly. Once we confirm that, we will send surveys to the rest of you! So if you don't receive a survey invite yet, don't panic.
When you receive your link: You’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

Final Files
In other news, this week we sent all of our final print files to the factory! 🎉 This is a big milestone in the production process. Next, we will work with the factory to go through the proofing and sampling process to make sure everything looks and feels just like we want it to. Once approved, we will enter mass production! We will be sure to keep you all updated on every step of the journey.

We've missed you these last two weeks! We have been hard at work finalizing all of the prompts and reading through all the submissions. Here are the results of the last poll! These 20 prompts will be included in the Jubilee Community pack:

Hi everyone,
And just like that, our Kickstarter campaign for Spectrum has wrapped! In the end, 1,756 of you helped us raise $82,416 🤯 We are completely humbled by your support, and are so grateful! We can't wait for you all to get Spectrum onto your gaming tables.
Here's a quick breakdown of what you can expect next:
Prompt Voting
Soon, we'll conclude the prompt voting for the last round of prompts in the Jubilee Community pack. Click here to cast your vote, then we'll share the results! We'll also open up the next round of voting for the expansion pack prompts, so stay tuned for that.
Pledge Manager
We'll be launching our pledge manager through Backerkit in a couple weeks. For those of you are new to Kickstarter, we use a pledge manager to collect your shipping addresses and charge you for shipping and tax. You'll also be able to adjust your pledge in the pledge manager, such as if you want to add more items to your pledge. If you backed at the $32 level, you'll also be able to select your expansion of choice in the pledge manager. We'll provide more thorough details to all of you once the pledge manager launches in a couple weeks.
Game Production
We'll also be working to finalize all of the prompts in the game and make sure all of our files are ready to go for our printer. Throughout production you can generally expect updates from us about once a month, but if you have questions during that time you can always drop them in the comment section!
